Research visits and expert meetings
SONSBEEK International Foundation and SKOR | Foundation for Art and Public Domain, 2013.
In 2013 Sonsbeek International Foundation and SKOR, Foundation for Art and Public Domain announce a close collaboration to realise the next Sonsbeek exhibition in 2016. Joining forces allows the internationally renowned visual art exhibition to benefit from a high quality stimulus in terms of organisational structure and continuity. The Sonsbeek exhibition is currently the only exhibition, which focuses on public space in the Netherlands. The first edition took place in 1949.
As a project assistant I am contributing in organizing research visits and round table discussions to achieve a new and improved framework for Sonsbeek 2016.
The first meeting took place in Arnhem on 19 April 2013. In October 2014 a research visit from the curatorial candidates is taking place in Arnhem.
